Our first free session of Sign and Swing! is July 9

Have you heard about Sign and Swing!? The first free session is this Saturday July 9 from 6pm-7pm in Carleton Place. Here’s a link with all of the info you need to know: Announcing the Launch of Sign and Swing!

For our first ASL circle time we’ll be reading the gorgeous children’s book Ten Little Caterpillars, written by Bill Martin Jr. and illustrated by Lois Ehlert. Look at the pictures, watch Lisa sign the story, and experience an immersive ASL environment. All ages and all welcome!

We’ll also sign the first verse of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star together and practice a few ASL words of the week. Then we will have an open discussion time for those who want to start signing at home. Share your experience and learn from others. Bring your questions and your advice, and any park toys you might want to share for the evening.

Hope to see you on Saturday! If you have any concerns you can reach Lisa at Lisa@BlackBearHealingHome.com or 613-558-3199 (text and phone).
